Whether you find yourself considering a detoxification program for removing impurities, improving overall health, or recovering from an overindulgent evening, there are a number of popular detox plans from which to choose. Many detox programs include drastic measures and intense restrictions, and while many of these detoxes seem to be effective, the harm done to the body can far outweigh the benefit. With adequate hydration and a clean diet of natural, nutrient-dense foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and additions, the body receives what it requires for optimal functioning. By adding apple cider vinegar to your diet, you can achieve detoxification throughout your entire body naturally. The enzymes and nutrients in ACV cleanse the blood, brain, cells, and organs of toxic substances and organisms, and support healthy maintenance and protection from future toxicity. Add the deliciousness of sweet fruits, antioxidant-rich produce, and other delectable additions, and you’ll have a cleansing ACV creation that beats any other detox drink available!

Technically, turmeric is a rhizome—not a root—but like its cousin ginger, it’s often called for in “root” form in recipes. Turmeric is commonly associated with certain Asian cuisines but the truth is that this bright-orange “root” can be added to many delicious and nutritious recipes for drinks, smoothies, snacks, and meals that benefit the body and mind. Curcumin, a substance in turmeric contains detoxifying compounds and anti-inflammatory benefits, making turmeric a wonderful addition to any detoxification diet. Several studies suggest curcumin may ease the symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis and may block the growth of certain types of tumors. Curcumin’s purifying and protective effects not only prevent illness and disease but also support the body’s natural purging of toxins and impurities. With a slightly tangy taste, this all-natural ingredient can be added to an apple cider vinegar drink to bolster the already potent effects that ACV’s enzymes and nutrients have on the body. Protecting the body’s immune system while detoxifying the body and brain, turmeric is a great addition to any drink.
