Fermentation Frenzy! is produced by Fermentation magazine in conjunction with the MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR at Seven Springs, Sept. 13-15. Each individual registration for Fermentation Frenzy! includes a weekend pass to the MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR.

This one-and-a-half day event is jam packed with fun and informative hands-on sessions for a journey across the fermentation spectrum.
From bread to beverages and everything in between, learn how fermenting can add that perfect sour or sweet to your creations. Expand your knowledge with workshops covering the dos and don’ts of fermenting, health benefits, and the science behind your favorite foods. Enjoy a wild and rowdy kimchi extravaganza and mouthwatering fermented food tastings. PLUS, get hands-on with these five interactive break-outs:
- Demystifying Miso with Kirsten and Christopher Shockey
- Pita Bread and Sourdough Starters with Victoria Redhed Miller
- Dry Aged Salami with Meredith Leigh
- Cheese Please with Gianaclis Caldwell
- Brewing a Simple Ale with Jereme Zimmerman
Space is limited to maximize the experience for all attendees. After the initial session on Kimchi attendees will break out into five groups that will rotate through each session.
Your registration includes the Kimchi cook-off and all five breakout sessions. All ingredients, cooking supplies, appliances, lunch on Thursday, dinner on Thursday, tastings, classroom instruction, and a weekend pass to the MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR and a year-long subscription to Fermentation are included. Lodging can be booked directly through Seven Springs Mountain Resort.
All extended workshops are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
